Auction With A Twist 2

This isn't just a plain and simple auction website... its an auction site with a twist!

Rather than simply bidding on the items listed you are encouraged to make the seller a offer. Believe it or not we were doing this before eBay introduced their 'make an offer'.

The site also supports 'Buy it Now' items. Please note this is an updated version of our 'Auction with a Twist' website.

For a user:

The user will create an account on the website. This account will allow them to buy and sell on your website. The user buying an item Once the user has found something they want to buy they can click 'buy it now' or make the seller an offer for the item. The seller is sent an email with the offer and has the chance to accept or decline. The user selling an item Using a single screen the items description, cost, images etc are entered. As soon as the 'List Item' button is clicked it's live on the website!

For you as the site owner:

You login to the admin control panel and set the listing prices, remove items and manage your users accounts (if you want to - as the site can function in automatic mode)

This is a easy question to answer. You can choose how much to charge for each listing. The site supports a basic listing, best buy, bold insertion and a front page listing. Each of which you can set a price for.

A good example is to charge 10p per basic listing. On average we find that each user will list 8-9 items at one time:
8 x 10p = 80p

If you have over 9000 registered users so that translates to:

9000 x 80p = £7200

... and that's just for basic listings at 10p each

That's a fair amount of money for very little work. The more effort you put into it the more you could make.
