Silver Backed Brushes In Box

These brushes are in their original box. The exterior of the box is covered in brown paper to simulate leather.Rubbed on the corners and top. The interior of the box is lined with fitted peach velvet, now age marked; and peach satin. The fall front of the box has two fold-over brass catches. On the inside there are clips to hold a comb which is missing. The brushes have hollow silver backs on a wooden core with bristle. The bristle is now worn in the centre. The backs have dents and a stylised engraved design. The hallmarks on each brush are for Birmingham 1935, and the makers/retailers mark R.P. Brushes each measure approx. 125mm x 75mm. Box measures 184mmx 148mm x 65mm
